This issue looks at the increase in internet use and online activism in Russia and the impact on security. The first article discusses the political impact of social media and online activism as well as the role of cyber security. The second article examines the relationship between online and offline activism and political and social change.The report concludes with the results of an opinion poll on internet use and attitudes towards illegal downloading.
