This paper looks at using psychological profiling in counter-terrorism efforts. It describes various personality types such as narcissistic, paranoid or antisocial personalities and argues that developing terrorist profiling before designing an interrogation paradigm could be an attractive method for detecting terrorists. It recommends defining terrorism from the terrorists' perspectives to explain the functional significance and predictive validity of the psychological profiling.
