This commentary discusses the role and development of the Salafi Nour Party in Egypt during the Arab Spring claiming that the party has emerged as an important political actor. The author notes that the party continues to criticize the Muslim Brotherhood and cooperate with secular forces. She concludes that the party will remain a force to reckon with in Egypt and Europe should therefore engage in dialogue with the party.
