This article discusses the India-Pakistan Line of Control (LOC) in Jammu and Kashmir, in the context of a 2013 meeting between the Prime Ministers Nawaz Sharif and Manmohan Singh. The author emphasizes the significance of India's domestic discourse regarding the so-called ‘Second Kargil’ – a new wave of clandestine ‘Pakistani infiltration’ into India across the LOC - for this meeting. He reports that the Prime Ministers agreed to reintroduce bilateral talks to address violations of the LOC.
