This commentary talks about the increasing price of petrol in Indonesia and how the government is developing other energy sources to address the issue. In particular, it looks at the country's fuel subsidies, which it suggests are unsustainable, and says that most likely things will not improve as no political party is willing to push the agenda for energy security forward.
