This commentary talks about the possibility of a coup in Thailand following the ousting of President Morsi in Egypt. It looks at some of the differences and similarities between Egypt and Thailand and says that while both countries have deeply divided societies, social and economic conditions are better in Thailand than in Egypt. It also says that previous experience of military coups has led both generals and much of the public in Thailand to not want anther one.
