This brief offers recommendations to the Indian Navy on a best course of action should it come into conflict with the Chinese Navy. The author uses a set of naval warfare scenarios between India and China in order to calculate which strategy the Indian navy should use against the numerically superior Chinese forces. He also recommends investing in better missiles and sensors as a more effective alternative to engaging China in a costly arms race.
