This paper examines the positive developments in the negotiations between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC). The authors discuss the main challenges to the peace process between these two long-standing enemies and indicate how guarantor states and the international community can contribute to reaching a durable agreement between the two parties.
