This paper examines whether the 2013 November elections in Nepal might support peacebuilding efforts there. The author argues that the elections and a new constituent assembly offer an opportunity for the international community to unblock the country's peace process by engaging more closely with the political aspects of peacebuilding in Nepal and with a new constellation of political actors.
