This book examines EU-Korea relations, how they might be strengthened and deepened, and what strategic benefits might then accrue for both sides. Yes, Korea may be an ‘understated’ partner for the EU, the text acknowledges, but it’s important to remember that even as it builds up its relations in Asia, it also retains a European orientation. Both Brussels and Seoul, therefore, should be sharing experiences on the joint policy challenges they face -- a truly comprehensive and forward-looking partnership depends on it.
