This commentary discusses the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the legality of targeted killing. The author specifically highlights the legal and moral challenges of targeted killing and proposes a criteria-based approach and a person-specific drone policy to targeted killing in order to ensure the adherence to certain legal and moral standards.
