This text features a collection of essays that focus on nuclear deterrence and stability in South Asia, with India and Pakistan naturally taking center stage. Among other issues, the essays center on 1) Pakistan and India's nuclear strategies, 2) how the US's experiences with tactical nuclear weapons could provide lessons for South Asian states, 3) the possibility of nuclear weapons use in the region, 4) the dangers of ongoing missile proliferation, and 5) regional nuclear stability in general.
