This paper discusses the space programs in India and China. The author argues that the space programs of the two countries have had different trajectories. However, he also says that both New Delhi and Beijing have often spoken against the militarization of space and sought to harness space-related applications for economic or social development at home. He believes that these commonalities may influence not only the discourse, but also the actions of these two countries in the longer term.
