This paper talks about Saudi Arabia's concerns over a nuclear Iran as well as the P5+1 deal and whether it might have led Riyadh to ensure it has the ability to acquire nuclear weapons through cooperation with Pakistan. The author argues that due to skepticism over the ability of the P5+1 deal to prevent Iran from going nuclear - and the effect this could have on Iran's influence Palestine, Bahrain, Syria and elsewhere - Riyadh might have reached an agreement with Pakistan on nuclear weapons. Indeed, she suggests that Saudi Arabia is already an "off the shelf" nuclear power.
