This paper features six articles on a number of topics for consideration in Australia's 2013 Defense White Paper. There include: 1) the implications for Australia related to economic growth in Asia; 2) Australia's future maritime capability needs; 3) the implications of future developments in US-China relations for Australian strategy in the South Pacific; 4) the stability on the Korean peninsula and Australian defense and security policy; 5) the Australian Defence Force and regional defense diplomacy; and 6) where Australia should concentrate its force posture.
