Who won the recent political struggle over democratic reform -- Morocco's monarchy or the ruling Justice and Development Party (PJD)? This commentary believes the former came out as the clear winner, which means that socio-economic, political and judicial reforms will continue to lag within the country. Given this probability, the commentary closes by encouraging EU policy makers to press for further change.
