Publication

This commentary clarifies points of a proposal made by the authors in a previous publication on China's claims over the Paracel and Spratly Islands in the South China Sea after Professor Raul ‘Pete’ Pedrozo from the US Naval War College wrote a critical response to their work. The authors believe their proposal provides a platform for constructive discussions on cooperation and joint development regarding overlapping claims which would benefit all parties in the South China Sea disputes.
