This report discusses how Abkhazians view matters of citizenship and security concerns in different regions of the partially recognized state. More specifically, this includes 1) the granting of Abkhaz passports to ethnic Georgians in the eastern (border) districts of Abkhazia; 2) the situation related to the crossing of the Abkhaz–Georgian border; and 3) the relationship between the population and law enforcement bodies.
