This paper looks at what Russia’s 2014 intervention in Crimea suggests about the country’s future foreign policy under President Putin. In particular, the author examines what the intervention might mean for relations between Russia and the US, as well as its NATO partners, and whether we are on the verge of a new era in international relations, or a return to something akin to the Cold War. The author also looks at what questions the intervention raises for Israeli foreign policy.
