This paper discusses Arctic countries' liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects and how they could increase energy supply to Asian markets, particularly those of China, Japan, and South Korea. It also addresses how the time it takes to transport Arctic state LNG to Asian countries could be reduced through a Northern Sea Route via the north coast of Russia; how the benefits from trade and business cooperation between Arctic and Asian states could improve their relations; and LNG developments in the North Pacific.
