This commentary discusses what Indian foreign policy might look like under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which won a parliamentary majority in the country’s April-May 2014 elections. In particular, the author examines how the BJP intend to use and enhance India’s soft power as well as how it might manage relations with the US, Russia, Pakistan, and Nepal.
