This commentary looks at Indonesia's current foreign policy and how it might be affected by the country's 2014 presidential election. After outlining the policies of the two front runners, Jokowi and Prabowo, the text concludes by anticipating an either/or result -- i.e., either the president-elect will run a highly personalized foreign policy agenda, or the foreign ministry will muscle its way to the fore and pursue a more ‘institutional’ program.
