This report reviews the work of the UN Global Focal Point on Police, Justice and Corrections (GFP) initiative, which aims to provide better police, justice and corrections services from UN Headquarters. The review finds that while the GFP has made significant progress in promoting collaboration between UN Headquarters, Departments and Programs, the full potential of the initiative has not yet been realized. However, the authors also suggest that the GFP holds credible promise as an effective tool for the delivery of police, justice and corrections assistance to the field, but that it requires increased support from UN management and UN member states.
