This commentary looks at the run up to the 2014 presidential elections in Indonesia just prior to the vote and suggests that while Joko Widodo is still the front runner, he is only just ahead of Prabowo Subianto in the polls. The author also addresses the problems that a narrow victory could mean for either candidate should they gain power.
