This report provides an overview of a seminar on how transnational security threats could be addressed through the post-2015 development framework. The topics covered at the seminar included 1) what constitutes a transnational threat; 2) the strengths and weaknesses of multilateral responses to illicit financial flows, transnational organized crime and the arms trade; 3) changes in global governance and the implications of these for international efforts to tackle transnational threats; and 4) the potential for the post-2015 agenda to tackle transnational threats.
