This issue of CMJ includes articles on 1) Canada’s submarine program; 2) the past, present and future of Chinese cyber operations; and 3) the evolution of the role of senior civilian public service employees inside the Canadian Department of National Defense. It also includes two articles dealing with Canadian military history, including 1) an examination of the impact of military geography intelligence and planning during the Second World War; and 2) a review of the activities and accomplishments of the Colonial Militia of Vancouver Island and mainland British Columbia from 1853 until 1871.
