This report assesses the political and regulatory frameworks that govern France's use of uranium-based systems and resources. In particular, it explores 1) the history of these frameworks, 2) how they were revised in the early 2000s, 3) what impact the changes had on different stakeholders, and 4) how natural uranium is imported, transported, and stored today.
