This paper provides a rating system to complement the existing scorecard system in tracking the progress of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) projects. After presenting their alternative system, the authors conduct in-depth studies on three ACE projects (ASEAN Single Window, ASEAN Highway Network, and ASEAN Power Grid) to identify the project’s major challenges; and give recommendations on how they can be further advanced. The study’s limitations and suggestions for future research are also discussed.
