This issue focuses on Africa as an emerging hotspot of the global jihadist threat. It includes articles on: 1) the cooperation between African jihadist groups; 2) the Boko Haram terrorist group’s attacks on the Nigerian state; and 3) the Somali terrorist group Al Sahaab and the strategy of regional and international cooperation to deal with them.
