This commentary argues that although the Yasakuni shrine in Japan memorializes the nation's WWII dead, the accompanying museum gives a revisionist view of Japan's responsibility for that conflict, honors the role of suicide pilots in the conflict, and paints Japan as a victim of the war; all of which the author finds troubling.
