This paper discusses the possibility of future social media involvement in the implementation of government initiatives in India. The author lists several reasons why a partnership between Facebook and the Modi government could be beneficial. One of them is the ability of Facebook to reach out to Indian citizens who in their day-to-day lives face social barriers that prevent them from participating in government initiatives.
