This fact sheet provides data on the world’s 100 largest arms-producing and military services companies and developments in their arms sales during 2013. Some of the key findings include 1) that the arms sales of these companies declined by 2 percent during 2013; 2) that this fall represents a continuation of a trend that started in 2011, but at a slower pace; 3) that a little over two thirds of these companies are headquartered in North America or Western Europe; and 4) that arms sales from the top 100 countries from the rest of the world rose by over 9 percent.
