This brief examines the key themes of the G20 summit in Australia as well as the implications for India of the main outcomes of the summit. The author contends that the a main focus of the 2014 summit was on proposing action plans to build a base for sustainable and inclusive global economic growth. This, he says, resonates well with India’s development agenda and its goal of increasing employment by investing in infrastructure and facilitating trade.
