This paper includes a number of commentaries on Internet governance, cybersecurity and the different policies governments are pursuing to cope with cyber threats. Among other issues, the articles examine 1) the state of public and private cybersecurity capabilities, to include their legal and technical dimensions; 2) India’s international cybersecurity strategy; 3) how to enhance cybersecurity in the ASEAN region; 4) public-private cooperation in cyber-crime investigations; 5) the pursuit of US-Russian confidence building measures (CBMs) in cyberspace; and 6) the role that civil society plays in helping develop CBMs between states.
