This commentary discusses some of the changes in India's foreign policy since Narendra Modi became Prime Minister in May 2014. In particular, the author examines Delhi's foreign policy towards Russia and China and how Modi's strategy, while containing elements of India's traditional foreign policy strategy, shows signs of greater pragmatism.
