This note addresses the media and public reaction to the January 2015 terrorist attacks on the satirical magazine "Charlie Hebdo" in Paris and how it has treated the issue of freedom of expression. The author also discusses the implications for Muslims of the attacks, and Islamist terrorist attacks in general.
