This paper discusses Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokawi)'s crackdown on drug trafficking and his policy of sinking vessels which are caught fishing illegally in Indonesian waters. In particular, the author examines the legality of Jokowi's actions and how they compare to those of the country's former president Yudhoyono.
