Publication

This paper contends that Russia is using disinformation to influence the population of Ukraine as part of its overall strategy to destabilize the country. In particular, the author discusses 1) what disinformation consists of; 2) the cyber warfare disinformation strategy that Russia is pursuing in Ukraine; and 3) the role that the Russian hacktivist group "CyberBerkut" is playing in this disinformation campaign.
