This report considers what the “responsible governance of the transitional nuclear supply chain” (RGNSC) might look like in the future. While doing so, it first focuses on the uranium industry, which is highly globalized and inextricably linked both to the nuclear fuel cycle and debates on security and nonproliferation. Then, the report looks at the evolution of corporate self-regulation in RGNSC-related activities and highlights the potential for nuclear suppliers and financiers to enhance nuclear security and nonproliferation.
