This commentary examines what India can learn from Singapore in terms of technological innovation to stimulate development. In particular, the author highlights the importance of having a skilled workforce that is able to take advantage of technological advances to enhance economic competitiveness. He includes data which contrasts the degrees of development and innovation in the India and Singapore and explores how the two states could collaborate in trade and technology.
