This report explains how the revolution in military affairs (RMA) has given the US armed forces a decisive advantage. At the same time the author details how the war in Iraq has painfully illustrated that this advantage in military hardware is not easily translate into political results. Utilizing sociological theory about 'risk society', the report explains why military might does not necessarily lead to victory.
