This paper discusses how the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran's nuclear program addresses Iranian ballistic missiles and radiological weapons. In general, the author contends that 1) the JCPOA leaves Iran wholly unconstrained with respect to radiological weapons; 2) the JCPOA fails to constrain Iranian missiles and missile systems as the limits imposed under the UN Security Council resolution that endorsed the JCPOA are so porous that Iranian leaders have already declared they do not apply to anything Iran is doing today or plans to do in the future; and 3) this is a major issue as it could lead to the development of missiles topped with radiological warheads in Iran.
