This commentary is critical of the conditions which US President Barack Obama and his negotiating team agreed to as part of the July 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) between the P5+1 countries and Iran over the latter's nuclear program. The author predicts that by the time the modest restrictions imposed on Iran's enrichment capacity expire in 10 years, the country will have recovered economically from the impact of sanctions, shattered the global coalition arrayed against it, and obtained the internationally sanctioned right to ramp up enrichment.
