This commentary addresses the EU's plan to establish a special group in Brussels to tackle Russian propaganda and promote the Union more effectively particularly in Russian-language media. The author then looks at Russia's reaction to the announcement that the group was going to be set up; questions whether the group will be able to counter Russian propaganda; and considers what audience the group will target.
