This Insight discusses the growing legitimization of anti-terrorism military courts in Pakistan. Because civilian courts have proven themselves to be too weak and powerless to convict terrorists, as illustrated by their feeble reaction to the attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar in 2014, the Pakistani people now seem more inclined to support the "robust" dispensation of justice in terrorism-related cases, even though military courts represent a blow to human rights and the rule of law in within the country.
