This commentary discusses some of the recurring disputes which are negatively affecting the relationship between Singapore and Indonesia. Among other things, the quarrels center on 1) deliberately set forest fires in Indonesia and the air pollution they cause; 2) problems with airspace control; and 3) accusations that Singapore is harboring corrupt Indonesians and their illicit funds.
