This paper argues that although South Sudan's stakeholders signed a peace agreement in 2015, the future of this young nation remains highly uncertain. In fact, the direction of the country could go one of five ways by 2020 -- "united in diversity, divided leadership, fragmentation, 21 kingdoms, and dictatorship."
