This publication on NGO perspectives on the 5th Ministerial Meeting of the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Cancún, Mexico reflects the main discussions of the meeting. The topics examined range from access to medicines, intellectual property rights, agriculture, environment or human rights to indigenous people, fair trade and democracy. The author also assesses the anti-WTO protests, highlights of the alternative events as well as the output of the conference.
