This report documents and analyzes three events organized by NGOs parallel to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos in 2006, namely the Public Eye Awards, an award offered to misbehaving multinational corporations, the Open Forum, which was co-organized by the WEF to discuss economic and social issues and finally the protests and demonstrations surrounding the WEF.
