This paper discusses the influence of information technology on warfare, with a focus on increased networking capabilities of sensors and drones. The author also examines the influence of increased networking between civilians on national security. The paper concludes that as long as the power of information technology doubles every two to three years, it will continue to be have a disproportionate effect on the evolution of national security.
